What to Wear
As you prepare and pack for your exciting trip to sunny, tropical Antigua, we have a suggestion that should help you enjoy the most out of your vacation. Obviously, the beautiful warm weather of Antigua will give you plenty of opportunities to wear your summer clothing and beach wear. Dress throughout the island is casual. In the evening, however, many restaurants, including hotel a la carte and buffet restaurants, require that men wear long pants and a collared shirt and dress shoes (no open toe shoes), with comparable attire for women (no open toe shoes). Some of the finer restaurants may require a jacket and tie, with similar attire for women, and occasionally a restaurant that may have had a casual dress code may change it without notice. It is always a good idea to pack some clothing that will allow you to enjoy dinner at one of Antigua's finer restaurants, even if now you think you will not need it.
